Having sat firmly in their creative vision since conception, CRACK CLOUD's all encompassing approach triumphs again with yet another striking audio-visual experience here. Created from "a variety of junk instruments and speakers", using a single SM57 to record, 'SAFE ROOM' and the rest of the album(s) were "borne from a winter of prolonged grief." Lyrically poetic and rich with personification, the dirgy instrumental sets the tone perfectly for an outpouring. Breaking suddenly into hopeful intervals to replicate the tumultuous nature of the human experience, 'SAFE ROOM' is accomplished in its inner conflicts, whilst leaving a lasting impression.
