Manchester artist Dirty Beau has revealed his new track, ‘Backseat Driver’, the second to be lifted from his upcoming debut EP. Built over an engrossing bass line and evoking a sense of psychedelic-tinted, AM-era Arctic Monkeys, the track swaggers as it drifts between moments of subtle tension and swooning, memorable hooks. He describes this tune as “an insight into how I see myself sometimes, generally an introvert but often feel like I’m in control… I don’t have to be loud or brash to get my feelings across, or feel confident in different situations…‘Backseat Driver’: Who is that?
