‘Push’ is the new release from Zürich-based art rock band, District Five. The track continues true to form, with an unpredictable sound based on anthemic, often melodically simple space rock, experimental jazz diversions laced with psychedelic energy, and mathy bursts of post-punk noise. Sinners star Saul Williams adds his outspoken voice to the release, and the band, who have always been politically active, simply add: “Stop the genocide, Palestina libre, down with empire, power to the people, reparations now.” District Five will be revealing their new album, GLUT, on May 29th, 2026, via Stone Pixel Records. -Dan Peeke.
