Galway band Shark School have returned with their latest single, ‘Don’t Trust A Man’. It’s a heavy, noisy track that immediately proves it isn’t messing around. The low chug of distorted and dissonant electric guitars lock into a fierce groove with the bass and drum kit, underpinning lyrics the band say are about “lamenting the desperation for women to comfortably just be; to just exist free of the burden and disappointment of living within a gendered social hierarchy.” Keep an eye out for their debut album, Selachimorpha, which drops on June 26th, 2026, via Strange Brew.
