South London alt-rock band BORSCHT have revealed their debut single, ‘Colour Of Forever’. It fills a gap somewhere between modern alt-rock and dark folk. The track’s unique sound is defined by the lilting strum of guitars and a gruff, conversational lead vocal. Off-kilter, swirling textures surround the track as it builds, with the intentionally imperfect nature of the arrangement being mirrored by the claymation music video that accompanies the track. “This song was written on the birthday of a friend, who had died the year before,” the band say. “A group of us were reminiscing about the timeless summers we all had together in our late teens.” Keep an eye out for the debut EP, also called Colour Of Forever, when it drops on May 15th, 2026.
