Ambient electronic composer and sound artist break_fold has revealed his latest single, ‘Workie Ticket’. The track continues to delve into the farthest reaches of his experimental sound, with syncopated rhythms and a shifting backing from off-kilter production coming up against the subtle dissonance of synth lines and their twisted melodic phrases. break_fold says: “The title of the song came quite early on in the production, and the track feels almost like a bit of a scoundrel. Me and my Dad tend to use the phrase when talking about footballers who are clearly shithouses.” break_fold’s Tracker EP is out on May 1st, 2026, via analog horizons & Launchpad+ / EMI North.
