Cardiff band casual smart have unveiled their newest single, ‘she's my love. This track is designed to be an expression of unconditional love wrapped up in a bedroom indie package. As such, it’s a beautifully memorable, upbeat cut with shimmering drums supporting vocalist Emily Beal’s voice and the delightful ripple of saxophone melodies. “As artists we tend to get caught up trying to make metaphors for lyrics but with our new track we tried to be as sincere as possible as a no holds barred declaration of love,” Emily says. “It’s the feeling of knowing someone and not knowing that you could know someone in that way, or that you could be known like that.” The band are heading out on a UK tour this month and will be playing at Brighton’s The Great Escape in May 2026.
