Cork no-wave band Crying Loser have revealed their latest single, ‘Eat the Evidence’. The track is hypnotic in its nonsense: jolting rhythms, dissonant chords and snarled vocals come up against the rumble of bass, the jumpy percussive drum kit and the honk of the bass clarinet. The second half of the track dives even further into unpredictability, with colourful, psychedelic sounds fighting for space amongst the cacophony. The band are also releasing their debut full-length, The Ick, via Go To 11. It’s a truly mesmerising sonic experience, defined by noise and experimentation, which results in something truly off-kilter and frenetic.
