My New Band Believe
List Pick
February 18, 2026
Sporting the creme de la creme of London-based musicians, former black midi member Cameron Picton announces the debut album from My New Band Believe with 'Numerology'. After surfacing a year ago with the uplifting and idiosyncratic 'Lecture 25', the wait is album over for an album that's been years in the making. Arriving via Rough Trade on the 10th of April, the self-titled album is an innovative reinvention of what a band really is. Whilst 'Numerology' is a thrilling indicator of things to come, in classic Cameron Picton style, it doesn't appear on the official track list. Frantic and bombastic, without the use of the unruly distortion that black midi became known for, My New Band Believe ask you to trust their hair-brained ideas and are actually good enough to pull them off. Watch and listen to 'Numerology' as we brace ourselves for an album like no other.
