‘i walked all the way home’ is the new release from Toronto-born, London-based artist Charlie Cello. He follows his debut single with a slow-burn piece of interesting, lo-fi folk-tinged pop. It begins restrained, with a treated vocal placed above hazy acoustic guitar chords, but builds gradually into an explosive, distorted wash of indie rock. “I started recording the record with Slarmz (Samuel Laramee) in Toronto and finished it with Ali when I got to London,” he says, of recording the track. “Ali and I sampled some shitty live recording of my band back in Toronto, took the outro, and glued it in there. Fun fact: most of the vocals were recorded on a plastic hippo microphone Slarmz made.” His debut EP, I WALKED ALL THE WAY HOME, drops on June 26th, 2026, via Agent Anonyme Records.
