LA-based artist and producer Mal Not Bad has shared their transcendent new single, ‘Amorph(e)ous’. It’s an ode to rave culture and the trans experience, wrapped up in a piece of electronic music that drifts slow from its spacious, vulnerable opening moments and into a skittering, techo-laced climax defined by the distorted grit of synths. Mal Not Bad describes the track as “the pinnacle of the 'in-between' motif that inherently has spread itself throughout this record. Its name alone points to feeling outside of conformity, especially in a time of transition.
